Healthcare That Reaches Every Kitchen Table

Your zip code should never decide how long you live.

Tallahassee has world-class hospitals, universities, and community clinics, but too many families in Frenchtown, the Southside, and Greater Bond still struggle to find care close to home. As current Chair of the Bond Community Health Center Board, Daryl Parks knows this system inside and out. He will use the Mayor’s office to connect the dots between our hospitals, universities, and neighborhoods so every family gets the care they need, when they need it.

Daryl’s Plan:

  • Bring preventive, neighborhood-based care into underserved corridors and hold the TMH-FSU health-system merger accountable to protect indigent care.
  • Tackle Florida’s Black maternal mortality crisis with a coalition of doctors, doulas, pharmacists, and postpartum providers, backed by the Maternal and Academic Health Equity Ordinance.
  • Expand walk-in and after-hours mental health services in places like the Lincoln Center, so families in crisis have somewhere to turn besides the ER or jail.
  • Launch an “At Your Fingertips” mobile app to help residents find the right care fast.
